Our website has recently had a revamp - any new material or recommendations gratefully received - clerk@woldnewtonparishcouncil.gov.uk . The noticeboard in the village is available for all to use - please make sure you date items and remove any old material.

Pitfield

Wold Newton Parish Council secured a grant to have some picnic benches installed at the Pitfield for the community to enjoy. The Committee hope you will make use of them. Enjoy the view!!! Many thanks to the volunteers from the Committee who assisted with the ground preparation and installation of them it is very much appreciated.

Wold Newton Parish Council are now members of ERNLLCA.

Telephone Switch Off

By January 2027, the UK's old copper phone network will be switched off, area by area. For older or vulnerable residents, particularly those with telecare alarms or no mobile phone, it can be confusing and potentially risky if they're not prepared in time.

There is nothing to buy and no sign-up required.
