Great news for the East Wolds Community Newsletter.

A new volunteer has stepped forward to keep the newsletter alive

Although I’ve been unable to continue compiling and writing for the community newsletter, a new volunteer has stepped forward and she is keen to bring it back as a monthly publication. What’s more, Sarah is a professional print designer, so the future of the newsletter is looking good.

Sarah will be in touch with you soon, to introduce herself and to tell you about the upcoming trial issue that she is planning. She is keen to expand what the newsletter covers and would like to hear from anyone that can supply regular articles on subjects such as cooking, gardening, local history, DIY, arts & crafts, etc.

It is hoped that the bulk of the printing costs can be covered by advertising but while a client list is being built up, the newsletter will once again be looking for donations to cover the printing costs. If your community group or parish council can help, please get in touch with Sarah. The Thwing & Octon Amenities Group has already committed to regular donations to keep the project alive.

The East Wolds Community Newsletter is set up to serve the local community, but it relies on support and collaboration from residents to continue its operations. Keeping the newsletter team informed about events and developments in your village is important. In exchange for this support and collaboration, the newsletter will distribute news and events to the grassroots community and contribute to fostering a more connected and empowered community.

Please send your articles, news, forthcoming events and suggestions to
